This gym was founded to provide a space for all ability levels kids to play and grow together. The only kid’s gym that offers an inclusive environment and philosophy, all children can benefit from We Rock the Spectrum’s uniquely designed sensory equipment specifically designed for kids with sensory processing disorders. At this gym, all the little ones benefit significantly from all the special equipment by allowing them to play and learn together.
What makes this fantastic kid’s gym so unique is that every one of its indoor playground locations includes 12 pieces of specialized play equipment. The equipment’s 12 pieces are designed and manufactured for We Rock the Spectrum, with the developmental needs of the young with sensory processing disorders in mind.
Occupational Therapists occasionally use the gym’s equipment, but it’s available for young visitors everyday. We Rock the Spectrum Kids’ Gym includes:
- Crash mats and pillows – For motor planning, strength training, and fun
- Trampoline – For building leg strength
- Sensory Based toys – For fine motor skills and improved auditory processing
- Suspended equipment with swings – For vestibular treatment and balance
- Zip Line – For joint and body relaxation and stress release
- Indoor play structures – For increasing playground skills
