The Walk of Fame: A Hollywood Must
Whether it’s your first trip to L.A. or your hundredth, ticking the top tourist attractions off your list is a fun and immersive way to make the most of the city. The Walk of Fame is a Hollywood staple, and with stars constantly being added to the roster, there’s always something new to explore. Plus, the area around Grauman’s Chinese Theater is full of street entertainers, performers and superheroes eager to take photos with you.
The newest stars who’ve earned Walk of Fame status include Viola Davis, particularly after her role in Fences. She earned her star on January 5. There’s also the newly minted star for Ryan Reynolds, another Hollywood favorite who stamped his permanent mark on Hollywood in early January.

Spend some time in this downtown landmark and look for the new stars of Lee Daniels, or look for the renovated star of Donald Trump (which was corrected after a vandalism in 2016). Matching your hands and feet to celebrities, checking out their signature, and perhaps even stumbling across a live event is all part of the fun of the Walk of Fame.
Other “touristy” musts include visiting the Hollywood sign, Rodeo Drive, and of course beach hopping. Take a trip back in time and enjoy the simpler pleasure of Los Angeles. Playing tourist for a day or two gives you a fresh perspective on this world-renowned California city.
