Manhattan Village Park and Field
Located 10 minutes from Lawndale on three acres of land, the Manhattan Village Park and Field consist of a full-size soccer field, picnic areas with tables, a children’s play area, and a restroom. This Manhattan beach park was developed in 1985, and it has ample parking right across the path, behind the Manhattan Village Shopping Center.
With the Chevrol Oil Company development in the northeast quadrant of Manhattan Beach, the city received this park site and the land on which the west drift Manhattan Beach (previously the Marriott Golf Course) was developed. Manhattan Beach City leases the golf course to private operators. The Manhattan Village Park and Field and the golf course are open to the public. The Manhattan Village Park and Field is situated in a lovely and quiet area surrounded by charming neighborhoods and shopping centers.
The park’s courts can be reserved for special events or organized leagues. You must have a permit to use the court or athletic field to book. A fee for those 18 and over is required for the permit; for those under 18, the permit is free.
