Larsson Street Parquette
High-profile Manhattan Beach parks like Sand Dune and Polliwog get much-deserved attention from locals and visitors alike. But for a small calm place for the little ones to play, Manhattan Beah residents know that Lasson Street Parquette is the town’s best-kept secret.
Located 10 minutes from Lawndale, Larson Street Parquee is a small, almost hard-to-find park, that’s why many people don’t know about it, but once they visit, they’ll be enchanted with its unique character and charm. Larson Street Paruqette is perfect for playdates, scavenge hunts, and even private neighborhood parties.
This tenth-acre park is located in the 200 block of Lasson Street and is a fully fenced site with play equipment, a basketball backboard, and a picnic table for 15 people. The only possible drawback is that there’s no restroom available.
Unlike many of Manhattan Beach’s parks, Larsson Street Parquette does not accept reservations. However, if you want to have most of the park for yourself, the quietest times of the day are late afternoon and early evening. Parking is generally available on 2nd Street or Larsson Street.
