Less than 15 minutes from Lawndale, This 24-acre park is located in Redondo Beach between Beryl St. and 190th St. The Dominguez Park Beach has extensive green areas, beautiful trees, playgrounds with equipment, picnic areas, a dog park, two Little League fields, and a Heritage Court. The Dominguez Park Beach is open from dawn until dusk all week apart from Wednesday -when it’s closed for maintenance-
At the northern end of Dominguez Park Beach, you can find the Redondo Beach Dog Park facility, which consists of a turfed and fenced 3-acre dog run area that includes separate areas for big and small dogs. This dog park has drinking fountains for both humans and their dogs.
The Dominguez Park’s Heritage Court features two iconic and historic homes, the Morrell House and the Queen Anne House; A courtyard and a Victorian rose garden; an entry trellis and a white picket fence. Both of these homes were relocated to Dominguez Park Beach from their original locations and house the City’s Historical Museum.
The South Redondo Little League field facility inside Dominguez Park Beach features dugouts, a portable stand, a backstop, fencing, and an announcer/concession stand.
