Caroling in Los Angeles

Just because the sun is shining and the palm trees are swaying doesn’t mean Christmas isn’t here—and nothing ushers in the holiday season like old-fashioned caroling. Angel City Chorale Holiday Concert and Sing-Along is an annual tradition at Wilshire Methodist Church where you can listen or sing along to your favorite holiday (Christmas and Hanukkah) tunes. With a 160-person chorus that mixes pop and classic with gospel, it’s a gathering you won’t want to miss.

The Festival of Carols takes place the second weekend in December. Hosted by the Los Angeles Master Chorale at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, 110 singers sing your favorite songs from “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” to “Silent Night.” The famed Disney Hall pipe organ is also featured during this family-friendly event. Santa meets and greets afterwards, too!

Adults Only

Keep an eye on the SantaCon Los Angeles page for updates on meeting times and locations (many times, this info is kept top secret until the last minute). At this raucous, city-wide event for the 21+ crowd, costumes aren’t just encouraged—they’re required. Pub and bar hop with fellow Santas all while singing your favorite holiday tunes.

From ice skating rinks to lit-up streets, there are endless options for celebrating the holidays and singing along with impromptu crowds. Catch a showing of The Nutcracker, or head to one of the many holiday markets around LA. How will you make the most of the merriment?
