Traditions Holiday Shop
The Traditions Christmas Shop is open year-round, but you’ll want to visit the charming little boutique during December. There are decorations, ornaments and much more for virtually any holiday, but it’s no surprise that the shop really shines (literally!) during the Christmas holiday. It’s where you can find nutcrackers, a variety of traditional and modern ornaments, and of course keepsakes and gifts made from local artists and fellow holiday lovers.
Christmas and Hanukah are two of the major holidays the shop celebrates, and it’s true one-stop shopping if you want to celebrate the winter holidays while on vacation. Santa, snowmen and reindeer get top billing, and there’s also an impressive array of folk art from nearby artists on display. Getting Into the Spirit
Old World greeting cards are popular, and you’ll find a number of nativity scenes ranging from simple and easily transportable to commercial-grade. Original vintage decorations and ornaments from the 1940s and 50s are displayed and available here, which instantly takes visitors back to holidays of yesteryear.
