The Redondo Beach Dog Park is a three-acre fenced dog run with separate areas for big and small dogs. This dog park is located at the northern end of Dominguez Park, only 20 minutes away from Lawndale. The Redondo beach dog park is open from dawn till dusk every day, apart from Wednesday when it’s closed for maintenance and upkeep.
This dog park has benches and drinking fountains for both dogs and humans. There are also waste barrels and scoopers for cleanup. The Redondo beach dog park is maintained and operated by the City of Redondo Beach and the Friends of Redondo Beach Dog Park (this association is dedicated to preserving and expanding safe, responsible off-leash access for all dogs.
The Friends of Redondo Beach Dog Park is a nonprofit California organization funded by generous patron donations, volunteers, and the Redondo Beach community. All Board members of this association are volunteers and are not compensated in any way.
Since 1992, thousands of dogs and their humans have visited and enjoyed the dog park. The Redondo beach dog park is to sponsor and organize park activities, advocate responsible dog ownership and raise funds for maintenance. Volunteers and a partnership with the City of Redondo Beach, Parks and Recreation, and Departments of Public Works Department do all this work.
